David Havlíček (CZE)

Head of the Czech export insurance company EGAP

Since last year, he has been the Chairman of the Board of the Export Guarantee and Insurance Corporation (EGAP). He is also the coordinator of the Czech National Economic Council (NERV).

David graduated from the Faculty of Finance and Accounting at the University of Economics in Prague, where he also received a Ph.D. in Finance. He holds the CFA International Certificate in Finance. After university he worked at the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic as head of economic analysis.
He has worked at EGAP in various positions for over 10 years — first as an advisor to the CEO, then he was Director of Strategic Decisions and Solvency II, and since 2016 as Head of Finance. He also focuses on finance in his writings and is co-author of the book Investor 21. století (Investor of the 21st Century).
