Zdeněk Stuchlík (CZE)

Theoretical physicist, astrophysicist

 

Zdenek is the Director of the Institute of Physics of Silesian University in Opava. He deals with physical processes in the vicinity of black holes, worm holes, superspinars, neutron stars and other monsters.

 

He also investigates the influence of dark energy and dark matter on the evolution of the universe and galactic structures. He is the winner of awards of the Czech Astronomical Society. His motto is: "The surest place to find a helping hand is at the end of your shoulder."

The lecture will focus on the life of stars and their remains in the form of black holes, and superenergetic monsters that arise around black holes.
