Hana Lafková (CZE)

Archaeologist

She admires the diversity of archaeology and enjoys unravelling contexts and problems that are not always clear.

Hana is a graduate of Master's studies in Archaeology at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. After working in the field and maternity leave, she returned to the Institute of Archaeology as an internal employee. She is currently completing her doctorate and her main interest is organic materials (leather, wood and bone artefacts), where she examines their material and technological aspects. She was also part of the NAKI II project teams investigating the influence of human activity on landscape formation. She edited a critical catalogue for the exhibition Unknown Archaeological Finds from the Odry Region, and is a co-author of chapters and articles created as part of the projects. Thanks to her work in the field, she was also a part of the anthropology team, so she is definitely not unfamiliar with the lectured topic.
