Anna Rotreklová (CZE)

Psychologist, documentary filmmaker

Anna is the director of the film Fantastic Therapy, which is her graduation documentary as part of her bachelor's degree in the Multimedia Techniques study program at Silesian University in Opava.

However, the author is not only a film student, she previously studied Psychology, Addictionology and Social Pathology and Prevention. She connected her fields of study in the film Fantastic Therapy, which focuses on psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy and was created in collaboration with Psyon - Psychedelic Clinic. The director has long been interested in the topic of an expanded state of consciousness, and with the film she would like to achieve greater awareness of psychedelics as possible treatment tools.
Anna currently works as a school psychologist at two secondary schools in Opava and continues to study film at the University of Silesia. She especially enjoys the camera and direction, both for documentaries and for feature work. However, in the future she would like to devote herself to psychotherapy at the same time. In her free time, she takes pictures of the most bizarre objects she comes across and adds poetic and humorous captions for them. She then places these photos on her Facebook profile.
