Yemi A.D. is a choreographer, producer, and innovator with over 20 years of experience in the fields of art and technology.
As an artist, Yemi was selected from over a million applicants to participate in SpaceX’s dearMoon mission—the first civilian trip around the Moon. However, the mission was later canceled due to delays in the development of the Starship rocket.
Yemi is also the founder of the nonprofit Moonshot Platform, whose mission is to support young leaders and social innovation. Under his leadership, the platform has grown rapidly—within two years it gained members in 112 countries and reached over 3 million people.
He collaborated for five years with Grammy winner Kanye West on iconic projects such as the MTV VMAs, Runaway, Saturday Night Live, and the Yeezus tour. Yemi is a member of the Henry Crown Fellowship at the Aspen Institute and frequently speaks on the future of creativity and space exploration.
In 2022, he was awarded the Silver Medal of the Senate of the Czech Republic for his contributions to social innovation. He is currently a board member of PSYRES, an organization supporting psychedelic research, and Space for Humanity, a nonprofit that enables visionary leaders to participate in space missions aimed at positive societal change.
