Vojtěch Tkáč (CZE)

Editor-in-Chief, Refresher

Vojtěch has been the Editor-in-Chief and Head of Content at Czech Refresher since February 2025, leading the editorial and social media content direction. He has presented and DJed at Radio 1 for over six years, and until recently he also produced the music and journalism show Reflektor.

Vojtěch has been involved in cultural journalism for a long time, regularly writing for and sitting on the editorial board of the music magazine Full Moon. Since 2022, he has been the programmer of the Pulz concert series at Palác Akropolis.

He has also published and contributed to various media outlets, including Headliner, Radio Wave, Cosmopolitan, ArtLover, Vogue, Rock & Pop, Autor In, Rock & All, and Frontman. As Editor-in-Chief, he ran the cultural website Bigg Magg and the print lifestyle quarterly Hipster. He also gained experience in content marketing and PR while working at C3 Prague and Relative PR for several years.

He studied journalism and media studies at Charles University's Faculty of Social Sciences, completing a semester at the University of Helsinki in 2018. He is a member of the Czech Academy of Music and a guarantor of two categories of the Anděl Awards. He also sits on the Vinyla Awards board.
