Simona Velichová (CZE)

CTU student

Simona Velichová is a graduate student in Nuclear and Particle Physics at the Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering, CTU in Prague. Her passion for physics began early – in high school, she built and studied a cloud chamber as part of a student research project. Later, she focused her bachelor’s thesis on the superposition model of cosmic ray showers.

Currently, she continues her research into the characteristics and development of cosmic ray showers in the Earth’s atmosphere, exploring how high-energy particles from space interact with our planet and how we can detect and understand them.
