Ondřej Kořistka (CZE)

Physicist and Science Communicator

Ondřej Kořistka is a physicist and PhD student at the Czech Technical University in Prague (CTU), where he focuses on gamma-ray spectrometry, nuclear facility decommissioning, and radionuclide monitoring in the environment. He is also involved in teaching undergraduate students.

 

He has worked in cancer radiotherapy at Prague’s Proton Therapy Center and in natural radiation dosimetry at the State Office for Radiation Protection. He also gained experience in the energy sector as a junior consultant. A passionate science communicator, Ondřej gives lectures, leads workshops, and runs a hands-on physics roadshow for schools, educators, and lifelong learners.
