General Manager for Visa Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia

Marcel Gajdoš is the General Manager of Visa for the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia. His role is to monitor the development of Visa's business activities and strengthen relationships with clients and partners in all countries.

He joined Visa in 2006 and has been the General Manager since 2012. In his position, he helped accelerate the development of cashless and digital payments in the Czech Republic and build Czechs into pioneers in the field of payment innovations. He was responsible for the launch of innovative services in the country, such as the Click to Pay payment method or the use of biometric data in payments. In the past, he worked for companies such as UniBanka Slovakia and Wells Fargo in the USA.
