Jiří Hejbal (CZE)

Physicist, Institute of Physics CAS

Jiří Hejbal studied mathematical physics at the Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague. He currently works as a researcher at the Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences. He completed research internships at LPNHE in Paris and CEA in Saclay.

His research focuses on the properties of the top quark—the heaviest subatomic particle observed—produced in proton-proton collisions at the LHC accelerator at CERN. He is also passionate about science communication and projects that bridge science and art.
