Peter Kaščák (SVK)

He fell in love with gynaecology and obstetrics while studying medicine, and this love — unlike others — has lasted until now. At the age of 38, he became the first head of the newly created Gynaecology and Obstetrics Clinic of the Trenčín University of Alexander Dubček in Slovakia and within 13 years he has built it into a respected top-quality workplace providing not only comprehensive medical and preventive care, but also quality teaching for the students of Trenčín University.

Peter is a regional expert and a long-time active member of the SGPS Perinatal Medicine Section Committee. So far, he has completed more than twenty internships or study stays at top institutions in Slovakia and abroad. In 2019, he was elected a member of the committee of the Slovak Gynaecological and Obstetric Society SLS.
He has become a sought-after expert, a rigorous reviewer and member of the editorial boards of professional journals, and is himself the author of more than a hundred publications. He is a member of examination committees and specialty boards of medical faculties in Olomouc and Ostrava, Czech Republic. And he's also a bit of a weirdo — he runs without having to.
