Journalist

 

Martin is a Czech journalist, presenter, sports writer and author. Since 2006 he has been heading Magazín DNES. As a writer, he has become known mainly for his book biographies and interviews with biathlete Gabriela Koukalová, neurosurgeon Vladimír Beneš, detective Josef Mareš and doctor Marek Dvořák.

 

 

Martin started his career at the age of 16 in the Orlicke local newspaper, for which he wrote reports from the district football championship. In 1998, he left East Bohemia for Prague, where he studied journalism at Charles University and worked at the editorial office of MF DNES. As a journalist, he focused mainly on football and tennis.
