He works as a therapist and lecturer, externally helps on the helpline, and trains foster parents. Previously, his practice was dedicated to working with people with intellectual disabilities. He is interested in personal development and meditation. He has been attending a painting course for 12 years, which he considers the best psycho-hygiene.
The PORTAVITA association is the largest provider of social housing in the Czech Republic and manages about 1000 flats in the Moravian-Silesian Region through its five branches, which it acquires from Heimstaden within the framework of the "Bydlení s doprovodným sociálním programem" project. The association also runs a furniture bank, provides food aid to people in need, carries out community activities and, from 2022, runs a social business. In cooperation with Heimstaden, the "Krizové bydlení" and "S námi domů" projects provide social work, offering housing and support to young adults leaving institutional care.
