Daniel Minařík (CZE)

Manager, Electrical engineer

Daniel has been continuously involved in the field of hydrogen technologies for almost 15 years since he joined the initial research activities at VŠB-TU Ostrava related to hydrogen mobility and student races of ecological vehicles at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, where several prototypes of racing vehicles with hydrogen propulsion have been developed.

Later, his professional focus was on the integration of hydrogen technologies in renewable energy systems and the preparation of laboratory infrastructure for further applied research. His professional profile is primarily that of a practical electrical engineer, "trendsetter" and manager
in the field of the processes and technologies of contemporary energy transformation.
He is currently the commissioner of the Moravian-Silesian Region for the development of hydrogen technologies and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the newly established Moravian-Silesian Hydrogen Cluster.
Daniel is involved in many development areas of the Hydrogen Valley concept of the region. He is fully convinced that with the unwavering support of all the hydrogen plans formulated so far in the Moravian-Silesian Region, our region will stand out in the competition of European hydrogen regions – other "Hydrogen Valleys" – and will maintain its leadership in the Czech Republic in the set pace of hydrogen technology adoption not only in the specific applications already planned, but also in the creation of completely new business opportunities in the progressive energy sector with the necessary contribution of direct European funding for the complex transformation activities planned for our post-coal region.
