Miki Knížka (SVK)

Climber and skier

The native of the Tatra Mountains has dreamed of being a mountain porter since childhood. At the age of 17, he began to fulfil his dreams. He won the Sherpa Rally five times. Gradually, however, the porter races were not enough for him and he started climbing, skialping and travelling.

He went to the USA, Alaska, and Canada, which he became enchanted with and stayed there for 11 years. He did many skialp and climbing trips in the mountains there until he became a mountain guide with an international UIAGM/IFMGA license. He traveled through South America, Japan, and Asia, but his dream of becoming a chalet keeper at Zbojnicka Chalet still held him. This dream came true thanks to the owners of the chalet, KST and JAMES, who chose him as a chalet keeper in 2020. This hard work is worth it.
