Petr has been working in the Czech media for more than 25 years. This is his twelfth year as editor-in-chief of Forbes - since its inception in the Czech Republic.

 

 

From 2005 to 2010 he was the editor-in-chief of Hospodářské noviny and before that, he was the head of the economic section of MF Dnes. For ten years he hosted the political television discussion "Nedělní partie", and for three years he hosted the radio programme Pressclub. He worked for the Austrian press agency APA. He produced and hosted the "Den podle..." broadcast as well as the Saturday economic programme Ekofórum on Radio Czech Radio Plus.
He graduated from Prague University of Economics and Business, completed a study stay at Oxford University, Green College, and a year's study at Johannes Kepler University in Linz. He has received the "Cena guvernéra České národní banky" award for economic journalism.
