Thomas has come to Prague to support the forming of the traditional Bata brand and he wants this brand to have an identical image in all the countries where Bata sells his products. Therefore he focuses on the centralization of the previously fragmented marketing, which has been differently handled in each country. He wants to realize his plans with the help of the best innovators and designers who work for Baťa and who have been brought to Prague´s offices by Thomas. After almost 80 years, an important part of Bata's company returns to where this famous shoemaking company was founded in the late 19th century.
Thomas was born in Toronto, Canada; he lived in Switzerland and studied political science in Edinburgh. In between he travelled around the world and gained experience. He worked for Nike and H & M; in 2011 he directed the Prague branch of Bata on Wenceslas Square. Thomas speaks English, French, and Spanish. He understands Czech.
