A world-renowned physicist and science populariser. Her work involves physics of plasma, interactions of matter with high-powered lasers. Currently, she is the head of her own scientific group in Helmholtz Centre in Dresden – Rossendorf. Despite her young age she has already won several prestigious awards for her work.
