Co-author of innovative methodologies in electoral and political research, such as election predictions, visualization of election research data or the analysis of the impact of TV debates using electronic audience measurement. He has run dozens of electoral and political researches for Czech and Slovak media. Daniel Prokop is a sociologist and also a member of a team dealing with the research of poverty and social exclusion at Charles University.
He studied sociology at the Faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University, where he now works. From 2009 to 2018, he was a researcher at the Median Research Agency and from 2017 to 2018 he was Head of Research at Median. He regularly publishes articles in various Czech media on the topics of poverty, public policy and electoral behaviour.
