Amit Goswami (USA)
Theoretical quantum physicist, philosopher and visionary
„Consciousness, not matter, is the ground of all being.“
An American professor of theoretical quantum physics, philosopher, and visionary. He focuses on the study of consciousness, which, according to him, forms the basis of quantum physics. Occasionally he lectures at Oregon University, writes books and shares his ideas.

Amit, born in India, earned his Ph.D. from Calcutta University in physics in 196. He worked for 30 years at the University of Oregon in the physics department. Today he is retired, but he still occasionally lectures. He has published a series of books on the interconnection of consciousness and materialistic sciences and has appeared in many documentaries.
In his thoughts, he promotes how classical materialistic science can be integrated with spirituality. This new paradigm of science based on the primacy of consciousness is called „science within consciousness“. Amit applies the quantum way of thinking to many spheres of human life and activities. According to him, consciousness takes first place in all science disciplines: physics, economics, medicine, or philosophy. Amit also deals with his own spirituality and transformation. He says he's a quantum activist. In his lifetime work he connects the spiritual nature of human life with consciousness of the universe. He seeks answers to the fundamental questions of humanity and repeatedly declares that God exists. Even as a scientist, he says, "There is nothing else but God." And that is indeed a bold and controversial argument in scientific discourse.
