Adam studied architecture, but focuses more on promoting architecture rather than designing. He often discusses the formation of public space and actively raises awareness of architectural culture. For his tireless promotion and criticism of architecture he became the 2015 Architect of the Year.
He has worked in Maxwan, Dominique Perrault Architecture, A69 and Bamber & Reddan architectural studios. He participated in the candidacy of Ostrava for the title of European Capital of Culture 2015. He is a co-founder of the newly created Center of Architecture and Urban Planning (CAMP) in Prague, which is located in the Institute of Planning and Development of the City of Prague. He is engaged in editorial and publishing activities.
