Eva Le Peutrec (CZE)

Architect, Urbanist, Visionary

Skyscrapers are her domain. The award-winning Czech architect Eva Le Peutrec has traveled over forty countries and lived on four continents, and she speaks five languages. She is an Architect, Urbanist, Founder of E-STUDIO, Speaker, Writer, Mother, Sailing & Fashion Lover.

During her studies in Europe, she decided to gain experience abroad and went to work in San Francisco for two years. Then she left for Asia. She arrived in Shanghai at the age of 25. She didn’t know the language nor had contacts, and despite this, she soon worked her way to major projects at the company she joined. She gained renown quickly – especially for her skyscraper designs. However, she was a Principal Designer on projects of all varieties. Such as office buildings, shopping malls, 5-star hotels, cultural and sports centres, transport hubs, schools, luxury villas, interiors, industrial design, as well as large scale city planning projects like a newly-founded city for a million inhabitants.
Since 2005, she has been the Principal Designer on over 140 projects. As she says, the only things still missing from her portfolio are jails and crematoriums. Since 2011, she has been living in New Caledonia in the South Pacific. In 2011, she founded the E-STUDIO architectural firm, acts as an independent consultant and works on large variety of projects worldwide. Eva has also published two books. Last year, she was a member of the jury for Grand Prix of Architects.
