Lecture in language
The professor of Philosophy says that we must understand that, as beings, we have always been cyborgs.
He describes himself as an entity which is permanently changing in all respects. Professor Stefan Lorenz Sorgner is a German metahumanist philosopher, a Nietzsche scholar, a philosopher of music and an authority in the field of ethics of emerging technologies. He focuses on meta-, post- and transhumanism. He teaches philosophy at John Cabot University in Rome, whereby he particularly promotes the emerging field of posthuman studies, and lectures at a number of different institutions. He believes that the integration of posthuman studies into the traditional humanities should be done in all the universities all over the world. In 2017, he established The Journal of Posthuman Studies.
