Karolína Jelínková has been working at SOS Children's Villages since May 2019, first as the Head of the SOS Kotva Halfway House, and since this summer as the director of programmes supporting young adults at risk.
Karolína graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Social and Charity Work at the University of Hradec Králové. She is now completing her Master's degree at Masaryk University in Brno in Social Work Micro-Counselling. She is in the third year of Daseinsanalytic Psychotherapy training. For three years she worked as a social worker in the Low Threshold Day Centre for Homeless Persons Naděje in Liberec, then for three years as a manager of the Low Threshold Day Centre and the Night Shelter for Homeless Persons in the Regional Charity Hradec Králové, followed by a year in Brno as a social worker in the Centre of Counselling Services in Prison and after leaving in Společnost Podané ruce.
