Between 2015 and 2018, he worked for the European Union’s East StratCom Task Force in the European Union’s diplomatic service, the EEAS, where he was responsible for raising awareness about Russia’s disinformation campaigns, and with his colleagues he founded the EUvsDisinfo campaign. Before that, Jakub worked as a political correspondent in numerous print, online, and TV news outlets in the Czech Republic. He received an award for promising junior journalists in 2011 for his work.
