During his studies, he spent four years at CERN in the exciting period when the world's largest collider, the LHC, was turned on for the first time.
Daniel obtained his PhD at the University of Michigan. He currently lives in Prague with his wife and two children. He works as a physicist and lecturer at Charles University. Besides science, he also enjoys drawing. His talent was used in the production of the short film “A Day With Particles” where his cartoons bring the story to life. In whatever free time he has left, he can be found on the top of some mountain.
