20. 7. 2018 17:30 - 18:30
Petruška Šustrová, Mirosław Jasiński and Petr Blažek will focus on the creation and gradual formation of Polish-Czechoslovak solidarity on the background of the historical development of Poland and Czechoslovakia from the end of the Second World War to 1989. Polish-Czechoslovak solidarity played a crucial role in the mutual awareness and support of Polish and Czechoslovak opposition movements and groups. In the 1990s, many of its members took the lead on the political scene of these two neighboring states.
Presented by Maciej Ruczaj, Director of the Polish Institute in Prague.
