Tomáš belongs to the best-known and most sought-after Czech photographers. He has become famous for both his photographs of well-known personalities and for a series of portraits of homeless people from Letná. In addition to street photography, he creates commercial photography as well. His "balkónovky" (portraits of interesting personalities taken on his balcony in Prague) have also been greatly appreciated.
He is the son of documentary filmmaker Helena Třeštíková and architect Michael Třeštík and graduated from photography at FAMU.
The project „Letenští“ was exhibited in 2014 in the Prague´s gallery Artwall. The media coverage of the case of homeless people which the municipality drove out of the bushes in Letná with the assistance of the police brought great popularity to the exhibition.
