His mission is to make people’s lives easier and the world simpler through automation and speech technology. The founder of StarCube, an award-winning startup accelerator program, and former director of the Microsoft Innovation Center in Brno, Michal has extensive experience nurturing startups in Europe. He is currently developing a new product for speech recognition.
He has a theoretical and applied informatics background from the Masaryk University in Brno, where he received his M.Sc. in Applied informatics. He attends dozens of workshops and training courses in management and innovation, including Entrepreneurship and Innovation at LSE (London). Michal also has experience from ICT and media industries in several countries.
After spending many years as an entrepreneur and business advisor, Michal joined Phonexia in 2015 and became its CEO in 2016. And he has big plans with the company. He is presently working on a new product in the area of speech recognition and is helping other startups become successful. When he isn’t working, he loves the outdoors, adventure and his family.
