For more than thirty years, the "Enfant terrible" of Czech photography has devoted himself to intensive exploration of the media of photography, redefining it and bringing it to the wider context of visual art in an original way. It is one of the few Czech creators (along with Josef Sudek, Frantisek Drtikol, Josef Funke, Jindrich Styrsky, Emila Medkova, Jan Svoboda or Josef Koudelka), who pushed shifts in the perception of artistic possibilities of photography.
