Dear friends of Meltingpot. We are very sorry, but this July we will not meet in person in the Dolní Vítkovice area. The 19th year of

A retired particle physicist but still unstoppable. As an enthusiastic physicist he promotes physics everywhere, talking with students and teachers, taking them for excursions, performing in the media and outreach events, all to share with the public the beauty and importance of physics.

  Physics attracted Jiří at basic school already. He entered Charles University in Prague and obtained his diploma in nuclear physics. He has spent his life with particles, more specifically More…
