The company uses principles of industry 4.0 and technologies such as 3D scanning, 3D printing, automation using artificial intelligence and IoT. Due to its worldwide unique character, the company was selected by HP as its marketing partner. In 2019, the team of Invent Medical obtained the Medtech Breakthrough prize for the best use of 3D print in the healthcare sector and won two Red Dot awards, including Best of the Best. Before joining Invent Medical, Jan worked as
UX designer for many years. As part of his prior design career, he won, as so far the only Czech, the prestigious international design prize awarded by the Royal Academy of Arts in London. Forbes included Jan in its “30 under 30” selection.
