A traveller and a journalist whose passion is to discover long-forgotten stories. He is the author of the book Across the Wild East, which earned him the Magellan Award in 2012. He is the initiator of the famous expedition that followed in the footprints of Witold Gliński who escaped from a gulag, and he co-wrote a documentary film about the expedition.
In 2013, he led the expedition along the Transpolar Mainline, of the Dead Road, built by gulag prisoners at Stalin’s order. The track went through the rough and uninhabited lands along the Arctic Circle. More…
