Roman’s professional range is truly large. The well-known Czech dentist, dental surgeon and specialist in laser and aesthetic medicine does a lot of things: in addition to his scientific work and medical practice, he is a successful entrepreneur and he gives lectures both at home and abroad. In 1990s, he became famous as a TV presenter.

After he finished his studies at the Charles University, Roman worked at the Dental Clinic of the General University Hospital in Prague where he is now the head physician of the Photonic Medicine Centre. He teaches dentistry at P. J. Šafárik University in Košice. He lectures at other universities, both domestic and foreign.
He has had professional internships in Boston, Paris, Soul, Uppsala, New York as well as Vienna. He is involved in scientific research and focuses mostly on laser application (in the field of aesthetic medicine) and tooth implants (in the field of dental surgery). He writes professional and popularizing articles and essays. In 2009, he received the Medical Research Award.
In 1996, he founded Asklepion-Lasercentrum, a multi-departmental institute of aesthetic medicine that has several locations. He is also engaged in the tooth implants business, thanks to which he travelled as far as South Korea.
