In the capital of Thimphu he helped local entrepreneurs with startups and marketing. He became familiar with the nature of young Bhutanese entrepreneurs, their drive or laziness. While traveling through Bhutan, he reached places most foreigners have no chance of seeing. He drove a car on the left, which he only learned once he was there, and yet he traveled Bhutan from east to west and overcame almost impassable roads above steep cliffs on one of the most dangerous “freeways” in the world.
Matouš likes to cook and thus has the opportunity to learn about foreign cultures through local specialties. In Bhutan he participated in cookery courses, from which he gained much experience and new recipes.
His favourite sports are tennis and badminton, in which, as the only participating foreigner, he reached the quarterfinals in the Bhutan Championship.
