„I want to change society. I want to transform sport. And I want to write history.“
The Neapolitan native is a bit like an uncontrolled missile: impulsive, energetic, and puts joy and passion into everything he does. He traded his original business and consulting activities for organizing the Prague International Marathon
. Over the past 20 years, this local sporting events has transformed into the massive RunCzech race, which now takes place in a cycle of 45 runs across the country.

Carlo fell in love with Prague during his first trip across Central Europe, which he participated in with the consultants of Ernst & Young's management. Shortly after this trip, Carlo established the consulting firm European Business Solutions in Prague, which provided advice to investors who were interested in entering the post-revolutionary Czechoslovak market.
In the mid-1990s, when Carlo had permanently settled down in the Czech Republic, the idea came to organize the first marathon run in Prague. Together with the gold marathon runner, the Italian Gelindo Bordin, and with the support of the Zátopka couple, the first Prague International Marathon really did take place. The year was 1995. Gradually, the 10km Grand Prix Prague, the Prague Half Marathon, another four half marathons in Olomouc, Ústí nad Labem, České Budějovice and Karlovy Vary, and a race in Liberec were added to the international marathon. The event changed its name to RunCzech, and today it is the largest running series in the Czech Republic and has a significant role in promoting the country around the world.
