Amy is one of the most influential and progressive artists in New York. In her performances she not only dances or sings, but she is also a composer, costume designer and choreographer of these works. In her unique dance style, elements of hip-hop, house, capoeira, and African dances are combined.
Over the past decade, Amy has participated in international concert performances in more than 20 countries. She has become the face of Nike Women and many sports magazines, including Women’s Health and Self. She has collaborated with Madonna and many other popular artists. She currently lives between Los Angeles and Brazil.
She runs her own dance company, Kinetic Junglist Movement
, and acts as a curator of the unique Urban Roots project that has been in New York for ten years. She sees herself as a warrior, yoga, and fitness enthusiast. Amy is unique and, like every visionary, she creates art with every breath. Her passion for movement and creativity has transformed her into a unique figure of world dance.
