He has worked in the architectural offices Maxwan, Dominique Perrault Architecture, A69 and Bamber & Reddan.
Adam is involved in editorial and publishing activities. He worked on the editorial board of Era 21 magazine and hosted his own programs: from 2009 the series Bourání on radio Wave, and until 2017 the show Gebrian versus on the online television Stream. He has written articles on architecture For Lidové noviny, Respekt and Hospodářské noviny. He contributed abundantly to the group blog about (not only) architecture, archit.cz. Adam participated in the preparation of Ostrava's candidacy for the title of European Capital of Culture 2015. He is the co-author of the newly created Center for Architecture and Urban Planning (CAMP) in Prague, which is housed in Prague's Institute of Planning and Development.
He stood at the birth of the private architectural school ARCHIP where he now teaches. He also teaches at the Prague Institute. Adam participates in the organization of PechaKucha Night Prague.
