Vladimír Nosek

Czech Mountaineer and Doctor

Vladimír Nosek started mountaineering in 1981. He endured many climbs of north faces of the High Tatras, summer and winter climbs in the Western Alps and the Caucasus, and stood seven times atop the peaks of Pamír and Tian-Shan, and climbed Everest without extra oxygen in 1989. He was the second Czech to finish the Seven Summits project in December of 2005.
