Lavie Tidhar

An Israeli writer living in London.

Tidhar was born in an Israeli kibbutz, but went on to live in South Africa, Laos and Vanuatu. He currently lives in London. In the world of literature he has made a name for himself as an author of sci-fi and fantasy, which he writes in a variety of forms ranging from short stories through novels all the way to graphic novels. For his novel Osama he won the 2012 World Fantasy Award for Best Novel, among others beating Stephen King with 11.22.63 and George R. R. Martin with his A Dance with Dragons.
