Libor Witassek

Czech cyberneticist, businessman and manager

Witassek is a graduate of the Brno University of Technology in the field of Technical Cybernetics and the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun in International Marketing Management. He gained an MBA from the Dominican University in Chicago.

Witassek currently concerns himself with strategic change management. He is a consultant for well-known companies such as Siemens and Samsung. He is a member of the board for Allied Consultants Europe which is based in Stuttgart and is active in 15 countries in Europe. He is also an external scientific staff member of the University of Economics in Prague in the department of management psychology, as well as being author of the internationally recognised methodology Lean Leadership®, which he teaches at the university in Prague as part of the MBA programme. This method was awarded the Czech national quality prize “Dobrá rada nad zlato” (“Good advice is worth more than gold”) in 2010 by the National Education Fund, The British Council Prague and the Tomáš Baťa Foundation.
Wittasek is also a significant donor to the Anticorruption Endowment.
