A producer, rapper and graphic designer. Up to 2006, he played with the Ememvoodoopöká band, which won the Anděl prize in the ‘Alternative/Independent Scene’ category in 2005. He used to be a member of bands Sporto (nominated for the same prize in the ‘Electronic Music’ category in 2009), Phoenix II, Aran Epochal, Plugnplay and Komunisti. As a graphic designer, he runs the Carton Clan studio. He has been recording and performing under the name of Bonus since 2009 – formerly with the Martin Tvrdý Trio, currently together with DJ Mary C within the Člověk Pokrokový project. He has been nominated for the Anděl prize in the ‘Hip-hop and R’n’B’ category for his debut album ‘Konec Civilizace’ while his Náměstí Míru album won the Apollo prize awarded by music critics.
He and Václav Havelka published the Tvrdý/Havelka project based on motifs of the Czech underground, punk and new wave. He composes music for theatre performances and he has worked for the National Theatre, the VOSTO5 theatre group and Činoherní Klub Ústí n. Labem for example. Together with Mary C he established Kreaton, a music-training platform for electronic music.
